levying and recovering duty on all real estate assets transfer or

excess of USD 2billion,
Department is working on twin objective of maximizing the
revenues and cutting the operational costs while making it

Logikview‘s data architect and domain experts made a deep dive
into the legacy system of the department and then created the
project strategy. Using its indigenously built tool,
Logikview brought all data present in silos on to one canvas.
Thereafter using the intuitive data cleansing abilities of the tool
we cleaned the data and prepared it for analysis.
Logikview did text-mining of the registry deeds and the details
contained therein. This was achieved with NLP and patternmapping and the data thus culled out as compared with the form
data which was already cleaned and prepared.

On top of this prepared data the fraud detection analysis was
built. Under-reporting of the sale value in the form data was
identified when compared with the data discovered by mining the
text of deeds. Another way of duty evasion identified was wrong
categorization of the transaction.
